Pedal Power

The pedal cars use push pedals, rather than rotary. They resemble stirrups and the child propels the car by alternately pushing the pedals, the advantage being there is no chain which could injure the child or damage clothing. Additionally, the pedal versions do not have a footplate which allows younger children to push the car along with their feet until they can pedal.

Question - Could you advise the age/size limit for this car. my son, who's nearly four, is 1.10 metres tall. will he fit in the car? regards and thanks, phil.

Answer - From the manufacturers i can advise the following : "it depends on the child. some children feel uncomfortable when their knees are only slightly bent, other children are perfectly happy about driving with their knees up high. these cars have been driven by adults for tv shows etc – it is not a case of being unable to use it, it is down to how comfortable the child is which is subjective"
